Still Exhausted After Rest?

Are you resting… or just resting enough to keep pushing through?

We talk a lot about how rest is resilience. How rest is our right. How rest is resistance. But here’s the more important question: are you actually resting?

There’s a difference between relaxing and resting. 

Binge-watching your favorite show. Listening to an Audible. Dinner with friends. These things can be restorative, but they’re not always rest.

Rest is an interruption of your calendar that lets your nervous system soften. Your mental tabs close. Your body stops bracing.

You’re not just pausing long enough to catch your breath — you’re actually becoming still. 

You recalibrate.You reflect. You commit to what matters most to you.

So be honest:

Are you resting? Or are you relaxing long enough to keep pushing through.
