CREATE & INNOVATE new systems, policies, and frameworks
Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Bootcamp
Inclusive Leadership is a journey that requires us to sidestep conformity and lead beyond people’s comfort levels (including ourselves).
As organizations and businesses understand the mandates required in the area of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), there is a growing demand for leaders to demonstrate their authentic understanding of DEI and its critical impact on business, and the ability to lead in the work required. This two-day bootcamp will enable you to do that AND provide you with the internal resources required to prevent burnt out and deepen your resilience as you do this important work.
*This program is appropriate for employees, managers, and HR team members, within any level of the organization, who are new to leading the DEI Journey.
Let’s be honest…
Being an Inclusive Leader, while very rewarding, can be challenging and, at times, lonely. When leading from the lens of equity and inclusivity, you will run into roadblocks and obstacles. There will be people who are very excited about doing the work in the beginning, but as the journey continues, and disappointments accompany triumphs, some individuals will become discouraged, maybe even disillusioned.
You may find yourself in this position as well. This is where courage and audacity shines through reenergizing the vision, intention, and actions of your leadership.
No matter the size or your organization, you are leading a movement.
You are at the heart and helm of this movement and your leadership is the bridge and the GPS for change. I provide a two-day DEI bootcamp that prepares you to learn, grow, and make an impact on your organization.
After this training, you will leave with:
A foundational understanding of DEI.
Evidence-based strategies and tactics you can operationalize in your own organization.
Knowledge and practical skills on creating a safe, open, inspiring work culture.
Strategies on how to lead resiliently.
Let’s chat about your training needs.

Why I’m Passionate About Your Resilience
Most companies are failing to fully support their leaders with DEI…
Organizations aren’t ready
Training is a powerful tool to compliment organization growth and change where the environment, systems and processes and culture is positioned for change. If not, the onus is placed on the individual where they do not have the power to change the organization. In this case the training has not failed the individual, the organization isn’t primed and ready to benefit from the growth and knowledge their staff has gained from training.
Training only to the gap or problem
Training programs often jump in training to the problem or the gap. However, training is only as effective as the individuals feel safe and comfortable to demonstrate and model what they have learned. Integrating leadership esteem and mindset growth into training is key as well implementing and cultivating psychological safety into the workplace culture.
Burnout
People. Are. Tired. They have flexed, pivoted and demonstrated agility in unimaginable ways over the past few years and they are exhausted and change fatigue is real. In 2019, before the pandemic, the World Health Organization officially recognized burnout as a work phenomenon. One can only imagine how much that has intensified today. So, introducing training when your staff may already be experiencing decreased motivation, reduced productivity and increased stress levels can position the training to fail before it begins. The most important question to ask and address is have we taken a systemic approach to address and improve our employee mental health and wellbeing? If the answer is no, stop and invest in this area first. This will ensure your investment in training is viable.
Before we focus on the external rewards of Inclusive Leadership, we must first understand how to lead from within so that we can approach this work in a truly sustainable way.
