I’m Done Performing “I’m Fine”

I’m done performing “fine.” I’m building from truth.

There are seasons when what we’re carrying doesn’t just feel heavy, it feels fragmenting. Grief. Change. Pressure. Life.

And still, we keep showing up. We lead. We care for people. We perform. We produce.

In this week’s video, I’m practicing kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold. For me, it’s a living metaphor for Reclamation.

The cracks stay visible. Not as shame, but as truth. And what emerges isn’t what it used to be. It’s something more luminous. A testimony. God present in every seam.

Reflection question: What part of you is asking to be rebuilt, not erased?

If you feel moved, share a word in the comments.
